Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To contribute to the execution of entity relations strategy by maintaining relationships with government entities and collecting and communicating data, feedback, and inquires to concerned departments to enhance level of impact on government procurement by LCGPA. 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

DESCRIPTION

Relationship Management

§  Proactively connect with the government entities to promote LCGPA’s value proposition and get their buy-in for LCGPA’s agenda.

§  Maintain constructive relationships with the government entities and work to achieve and enhance the impact of LCGPA Government Procurement on these entities.

§  Coordinate with the Center of Excellence General Department to support the development of plans and initiatives focused on delivering required raining to the government entities.

Supplier Performance Management

§  Collect supplier performance feedback from entities and determine their level of satisfaction with the contracted suppliers; communicate any identified issues and concerns to the concerned internal department to get the issue resolved in a timely manner.

§  Develop and implement best in class supplier performance management processes to enhance supplier performance for better value delivery.

§  Identify, mitigate, and monitor remediation of identified supplier performance risks and issues.

§  Develop and support implementation of supplier performance remediation activities; provide support (as needed) on critical supplier engagements to avoid issues and to proactively mitigate risks.

§  Monitor and evaluate supplier performance using defined KPIs and services level agreements; ensure that the KPIs and SLAs remain fit for purpose and are reported accurately.

Data Collection

§  Gather comments, requests, and requirements from external stakeholders and communicate these to the relevant internal stakeholders to facilitate provision of relevant services/support; arrange for meetings between the government entities and relevant LCGPA teams.

§  Coordinate with government entities to collect data required by LCGPA’s internal departments; ensure timely availability of this data to contribute to business development.

§  Create and maintain a database of all enquiries, issues and requests from government entities regarding procurement and local content; conduct analyses on the common enquiries, issues and requests to provide to the Entity Relations Manager and other concerned departments for review and action.

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

§  Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

§  Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
